We recently installed a sound and light lobby at the entrance to Screen 2 aimed at reducing noise entering the screen from the lobby area. However, following some feedback we received from wheelchair users regarding access and provision in Screen 2 we invited a small group to meet with us and our architect to discuss their concerns and identify any improvements that we could make. I’m pleased to report that we will now be making changes to the wheelchair position, relocating it to the rear of the auditorium with sufficient spaces for two wheelchairs to sit side by side and next to seats to accommodate abled bodied companions. Broadway endeavours to make every effort to ensure our facilities are accessible to all and we are delighted to have agreed a solution to this particular issue following a consultation with our audience and we expect the work to be completed by the 6th December.
